Gnanam School of Business organized a power talk on “Identifying Market Segments, Target and crafting the Brand Positioning” on 9th March 2020. The session started in the august presence of Dr.S.P.S Arul Doss, Chief Executive Officer, Gnanam School of Business and headed by Dr. S. Sundar, The former professor, BIM, Trichy.

The main objective behind this program is to educate the students by giving an induction about Identifying market segments, targeting & crafting, brand positioning. At the outset, Dr. S. Sundar addressed the students on the basic concepts of Marketing. Further, he explained on how Marketing differs from Selling through live examples. Additionally, he explained how a product could be segmented targeted and positioned with the help of Audio Visuals and PowerPoint presentations.

The students prepared the questionnaires and the doubts were clarified by the Chief Guest as well. GSBians were enriched and enkindled with his innovative thoughts on the topic Identifying Market Segments, Target and crafting the Brand Positioning.

The whole of the session was a very engrossing one. This type of program is often conducted in GSB to enhance the knowledge of the students and to groom them.
